Brief overview of the role and project:
On-site Liaison managing fibre and civils teams on our Christchurch build.
Knowledge & Key Skills:
Essential:
• SSSTS
• NRSWA Qualifications (Minimum S1 & S2)
• First Aid Trained
• Experience on the Openreach network
Desirable:
• Good people skills (Dealing with the public)
• COSHH/RIDDOR/Health &Safety at Work – Knowledge of regulations and requirements.
• CDM Awareness
• IOSH
• Experience with IAuditor
• Confined Spaces Training
• SA001 & SA002
Accountabilities:
Auditing Live and Retrospective works.
Liaising with the public.
Assisting crews to achieve a high standard of work in a safe manner.
Ensuring Permit conditions are met on site where required.
Ensuring all crews on site have the correct accreditations & qualifications to carry out the required work.
Liaison with the Local Authorities (E.G. Site visits to approve planned works.).
Liaison with any possible client supervision (Highlighting issues that may delay the build and suggesting possible alternatives.)
You may be required to carry out build related tasks to assist completion of works.
Any other reasonable management requests.
